We are excited to be growing our coffee category in Mexico and today we are looking for a Commercial Manager, Costa Coffee. This role will be responsible for the At Home channel with a top 3 Coca-Cola bottling partner in Mexico. The Commercial Manager role exists to lead the successful commercial alliance with partners, key accounts, customers, and consumers. What you'll do for us:

  • Own and deliver the overall growth plan for the At Home channel with a top 3 Coca-cola bottling partner, consistent with the broader Costa Coffee strategy for the Mexico market
  • Act as the key liaison between Costa Coffee At Home partner for the market (e.g. the Coca-Cola bottler), and the Costa Coffee Mexico team
  • Guarantee an ideal consumer experience with the platform, through market insights, consumer proposition, communication strategy, Point of Sale (POS), and market activation
  • Ensure partnership success by defining growth targets, designing brand, commercial, and sales strategies, selecting the optimal commercial model, establishing required reporting & governance, and managing the day-to-day relationship. Includes support in customer engagement as required by the bottling partner

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience working in CPG or FMCG sales
  • Commercial and sales strategy is required; must have good knowledge of the Mexico market, FMCG or CPG customer network, and experience building and executing sales capabilities
  • Ability to work in a complex cross functional work environment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence key stakeholders (such as bottlers, customers, etc.)
  • Strong relationship building, presentation, and communication skills required
  • Proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and someone who takes initiative in identifying challenges, opportunities, and solutions
