[3yr Contract] QSE Senior Manager

Mission:

To safeguard the integrity, safety, and environmental sustainability of all CPS products manufactured at the plant by driving the CocaCola Quality System (KORE) and global Environmental, Safety & Health Management Systems. Lead capability development and continuous improvement so that performance is consistent with The CocaCola Company's values and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy

  • Act as the primary QSE authority for the CPS plant, defining strategic priorities in line with CocaCola KORE and corporate environmental & safety goals.
  • Support the Plant Leadership Team on QSE matters; integrate QSE objectives into business plans.

2. Quality Excellence

  • Ensure all concentrate and beverage base products comply with company specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Oversee quality systems: KORE, GMP, KFDA HACCP, ISO 9001.
  • Maintain audit readiness at all times (internal, TCCC corporate, and thirdparty audits).
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to resolve deviations.

3. Safety Excellence (Zero is possible)

  • Drive an 'Zero is possible' culture through proactive hazard identification and robust incident investigation processes.
  • Implement occupational health & safety programs (ISO 45001 or equivalent) aligned with The CocaCola Company Environment & Safety Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, local, and national safety regulations.

4. Environmental Stewardship

  • Champion sustainability initiatives: water efficiency & water resource protection, energy footprint reduction, recyclable materials usage, waste minimization.
  • Lead ISO 14001 environmental management system and ensure legal compliance with environmental permits and reporting.

5. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure QSE-related legal and regulatory compliance at all levels.
  • Maintain strong interfaces with corporate QSE, legal, and external authorities.
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in regulations affecting Food & Beverage manufacturing.

6. Capability & Culture

  • Coach, mentor, and develop the QSE team; ensure skill development in technical and behavioral competencies needed for a highperformance culture.
  • Engage associates at all levels with QSE initiatives to embed ownership for quality, safety, and environmental performance.

7. Performance Management

  • Establish QSE KPIs and target.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report results to Corporate QSE and Plant Leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in QSE within manufacturing, preferably beverages or food industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of KORE (or equivalent CocaCola quality system) and ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and KFDA HACCP
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and safety/environmental management in a global FMCG environment.

Competency

  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of product quality assurance, process safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical approach to resolving complex operational challenges.

5-15% (including corporate forums, audits at other plants, supplier visits)

  • Achieve annual environmental reduction targets (water, energy, waste).
