Job Description:
The Structured Derivatives team at TD Securities is seeking an experienced cross-asset derivatives professional to join its sales platform and support the continued growth of the structured products franchise. The role focuses on the origination, structuring, and execution of customized investment and hedging solutions for wealth, institutional, and distribution clients across the Americas.
The Vice President of Structured Derivatives Sales will develop and maintain client relationships across the U.S. and Latin America, supporting the Bank's strategic growth and distribution initiatives. The candidate will partner closely with trading, structuring, legal, compliance, treasury, and operations teams across North America to deliver tailored derivatives and structured investment solutions while helping expand the firm's cross-asset platform and client footprint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with structured products, derivatives, options-based strategies, and cross-asset investment solutions
- Strong understanding of derivatives markets, volatility, options, issuer risk, and structured products mechanics
- Established relationships with institutional investors, broker dealers, private banks, RIAs, insurance companies, or asset managers
- Contribute to the continued growth and expansion within the QIS platform
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex investment strategies and derivative structures in a clear, client-focused manner
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accountability, adaptability, and autonomy
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

- Active participation in client meetings, industry conferences, and broader business development initiatives
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and maintain a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism across the platform
- Contribute to team culture, mentorship, and knowledge sharing initiatives across the broader sales and trading organization
Depth & Scope:
- Position liaises closely with the Banks other operations in Canada, Europe and the U.S. to assist in meeting the Banks objectives
- Strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm's procedures
- Understands and complies with TD Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ensures that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicates bank policy information and strategy between the product head and relevant trading personnel
- Fully informed on market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times
- Develops and maintains contacts
- Understands the approved Business Strategies (Strategic Business Reviews SBRs), applicable to the business, and ensures that all of your business dealings are in alignment with these strategies
- Follows Credit Risk Policies and procedures, as they apply to the business and is responsible for being aware of and understanding such policies and procedures and ensuring that applicable sales and trading activity is in line with those policies
- Demonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.
- Series 7 and 63
- 5-7 Years of related experience
- Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
- Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
