Job Description

The Senior Manager, Engagement & Delivery drives colleagues' understanding, perceived value, and effective use of TD's RBW programs. This role also ensures programs are delivered efficiently, accurately, and compliantly through a simplified, technology-enabled operating model.

Individual Accountabilities

  • Lead the strategy for colleague awareness, education, and engagement in RBW programs, aligned with Total Rewards and TD Culture.
  • Design and deliver a multi-channel education framework (campaigns, webinars, decision-support tools, manager toolkits) to help colleagues make informed choices at key life and career moments (hire, annual enrolment, life events, pre-retirement).
  • Influence the selection and promotion of vendor decision-support tools and self-service resources that simplify complex benefit and retirement choices.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve operational excellence and a strong colleague experience.
  • Optimize the internal delivery model for RBW programs, including administration processes, SLAs, and governance.
  • Define and track operational metrics (data accuracy, SLAs, case volumes) and drive continuous improvement to reduce manual work and errors.
  • Maintain a simplified delivery model that clarifies roles, hand-offs, and ownership across RBW Canada, HR Operations, and external providers.
  • Lead process optimization, automation, and digitization initiatives (self-service, workflow, system integrations, document automation), including building business cases for related investments.
  • Assess and recommend outsourcing, co-sourcing, or insourcing options to maximize business value, balancing cost, risk, service quality, and colleague experience.
  • Ensure administration practices and communications comply with applicable pension, tax, employment, privacy, and human rights requirements, in partnership with RBW COE, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Maintain appropriate controls, documentation, and audit readiness for plans and processes, and provide regular reporting and insights to RBW leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree or certification in HR, benefits, retirement, or related specialization is an asset.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant expertise in program management and governance, including compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Experience designing and delivering colleague engagement and education strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize teams, processes, and frameworks with experience in automation and digitization.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, driving continuous improvement, and building business cases.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Strategic mindset, able to anticipate emerging trends and integrate enterprise strategy into program design.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in program delivery and team leadership.
