Job Description:
We're hiring a Network Analyst IV to join the Operations Support Group (OSG Network) team in Barrie. In this role, you'll provide Level 2 operational support for a large-scale enterprise network environment and help maintain the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical services.

What you'll do
- Provide Level 2 support for enterprise network infrastructure
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to network incidents and service alerts
- Troubleshoot issues across LAN, MAN, WAN, RLAN, wireless, firewall, load balancing, and optical environments
- Support incident management and service restoration activities
- Perform problem determination and root cause identification across multiple network technologies
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Use enterprise monitoring and diagnostic tools to assess network performance and health
- Strong contribution to the ongoing stability and resilience of a 24/7 network operations environment
What you'll bring
- Strong experience supporting enterprise network environments
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and telecommunications connectivity
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a high-tempo environment
- A collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach
Technical skills
You should have experience with several of the following:
- Cisco routers and switches
- Firewalls, Load balancers, and Aruba wireless technologies
- Switching and routing across:
- Cisco Catalyst 2950, 2960, 2970, 3550, 3560X, 3750, 3850, and 6500 series
- Cisco Nexus 2000, 5000, 7000, and 9000 series
- SD-WAN, including Cisco/Viptela
- Aruba Silver Peak, Aruba CX switches
Nice to have
Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- F5 Load Balancers
- Aruba or Cisco wireless solutions
- VMware NSX
- Virtualization
- Cloud computing
- Network security
- VMware
- AWS
Monitoring and diagnostic tools
Experience with one or more of the following tools is preferred:
- Tivoli ITNM
- PagerDuty
- SevOne
- Infoblox
- ExtraHop
Education and certifications
- Technology degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience
- CCNP certification is required
- Minimum 3 years of Network Operations experience
- PCNSE is an asset
- Microsoft Azure certification is an asset

This role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule in a 24/7 environment:

The Operations Support Group (Network Operations) is a frontline service availability team responsible for supporting a mission-critical enterprise network environment. The team provides dual-site, 24/7 coverage and responds to network anomalies identified through a range of monitoring platforms and operational processes.
