Job Description:

Department Overview:

As part of the Culture and Talent Management team, the Talent Development team is accountable for the strategic development of high potential talent with the potential to progress to senior executive roles. The mandate of the team includes talent practices such as executive assessment, coaching and 360 assessments; top talent development programs; and targeted development supports such as career tracks and development planning.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Development, the HR Analyst supports the end-to-end management of programs and practices, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence in order to maintain our function as the center of excellence for external development programs at the Bank. This role ensures seamless delivery, stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes that strengthen leadership pipelines and build organizational capability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Program Operations

  • Plan and execute logistics for Top Talent program components, with an emphasis on managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with SLAs
  • Serve as the primary liaison for participants, sponsors and program facilitators
  • Coordinate and may lead related meetings / discussions and address any implementation issues / concerns
  • Maintain updated program documentation and SOPs, creating standardized templates and project plans to support all Top Talent Programs
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to process, tools, fine tuning forms, tracking, reporting, etc. for the functions supported
  • Identify issues, trends and gaps, and initiate investigations within defined parameters

Program Coordination & Support

  • Prepare supporting talent data and materials for talent programs (for example, role profiles, talent cards, bios, resumes, etc.) and package them for an external vendor and internal executive audiences
  • Launch, track and manage pipeline assessment completion
  • Track program attendance and completion rates
  • Support budget reconciliation

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications

  • Develop consistent communication materials, dashboards and updating mechanisms to support integrated reporting across the Talent Development mandate
  • Interact with internal/external partners, organize meetings/ events or facilitate learning sessions/ presentations for dissemination of information
  • Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
  • Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline

Measurement & Evaluation

  • Support program evaluation and measurement using the Kirkpatrick Model and ROE techniques
  • Identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency and experience
  • Source and assess information to support recommendations

  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit

  • Experienced professional role providing specialized guidance/ assistance to function supported
  • Require experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas
  • Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area
  • Work within broad guidelines / policies and independently performs tasks from end to end
  • Solve moderately complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Convey business context when providing guidance within field of specialty to internal or external stakeholders
  • Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
