Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead engagement for the Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) in a fast-paced, shared services environment. This role drives operational excellence, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement across all data management communities within the bank. You are a strategic thinker and decisive operator who pivots quickly to evolving priorities while sustaining clarity, momentum, and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Engagement & Planning
- Develop and execute an enterprise-wide engagement strategy for data management stakeholders (Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business Asset Owners, Technology Asset Owners, Output Owners, Output Owners).
- Monitor engagement levels, identify gaps, and deploy targeted initiatives to strengthen participation and collaboration.
- Develop robust reporting on engagement
- Align engagement activities with EDMO objectives and enterprise change management strategies.
Communications Leadership
- Own and manage all EDMO communications: newsletters, EDMO Hub content, email campaigns, executive updates, and stakeholder messaging.
- Create concise, engaging content that simplifies complexity and drives clarity across EDMO workstreams.
- Ensure consistency of messaging and optimize content using engagement metrics (e.g., click-through, Q&A participation).
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across Business Segments and Corporate Functions to support data governance and management objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for engagement initiatives, promoting transparency and accountability.
Program Execution
- Plan and coordinate engagement activities: kick-offs, surveys, workshops, and drop-in support sessions.
- Plan and manage internal EDMO town halls and events-own logistics, agendas, presenters, comms, and post-event follow-ups to maximize participation and impact.
- Track progress, report on engagement metrics, and recommend improvements for effectiveness.
Operational Excellence
- Act as primary administrator for the EDMO Hub: manage posting process, content architecture, approvals, and governance.
- Leverage SharePoint and Power BI to manage content, track engagement, and provide insight-driven recommendations.
- Respond to changing priorities with speed and confidence, maintaining focus on outcomes and service quality.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or technical certification; graduate degree preferred.
- 7+ years in stakeholder engagement, communications, program or portfolio management within a large enterprise.
- Strong strategic planning and execution discipline; able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; simplifies complexity and influences outcomes.
