Job Description

Work closely with data scientists on the Business Innovation team to enable data-driven decision making at TDAM. Role will be tailored based on applicant skills and team needs.

Main job functions include:

• Build a variety of tools and pipelines, including:
• Web scraping and automation (Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
• Web apps (React, Plotly Dash. FastAPI, Flask, etc.)
• Analysis & modeling (pandas, sklearn, xgboost, etc.)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, strongly preferred
• Highly motivated to learn and adopt new technologies
• Strong programming fundamentals (Data structure and algorithm, basic software engineering principles, full stack development, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge in general programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bash, and CMD, among others (languages are just tools, feel comfortable and excited to learn and adopt more!)
• Cloud engineering and deployment experience with Azure, or a strong interest in developing these skills
• GenAI exposure or strong interests (RAG, finetuning, deployment, etc.)
• Able to participate/ contribute to system level design discussions
• Good knowledge and experience working with data
• Good knowledge of Machine Learning and algorithms
• Good business and technical writing / communication skills
