Job Summary:
The Senior Client Partner - Pharmacy is a strategic leader responsible for managing a select group of the most strategic clients. This role is focused on maximizing long-term value, retention, and growth for Surescripts' highest-priority accounts through deep consultative engagement, strategic planning and executive-level relationship management. The Senior Client Partner - Pharmacy will be responsible for revenue growth through expansion, renewal retention, and revenue attainment through increased utilization driving mutual success, and long-term client loyalty to achieve clients' and Surescripts' strategic business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic pharmacy industry clients, building and maintaining executive-level relationships.
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, orchestrating customer access to critical internal expertise and resources (i.e., product, finance, legal, support, and data & analytics) to ensure seamless engagement and execution.
- Develop and execute highly tailored strategic account plans that align with clients and Surescripts business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth and assume full responsibility for renewals, retention, and revenue expansion within assigned accounts.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to meet SLAs and achieve revenue attainment.
- Lead and facilitate executive-level engagements, including QBRs, Top-to-Tops, and strategic whiteboard sessions.
- Responsible for complex contracting and customer initiatives including changes to the product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Proactively identify and address risks, competitive threats, and changes in client business needs.
- Advocate for clients internally, ensuring their feedback informs product and service enhancements.
- Report on customer metrics (activity & pipeline) and provide forecasting.
- Manage performance against departmental KPI's & corporate goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive insights, and market intelligence relevant to clients.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- 8+ years of pharmacy industry experience within areas such as retail pharmacy, specialty, pharmacy tech vendors, pharmacy care management systems, pharmacy EHR or other related subsets of the industry.
- 8+ years of sales / account management experience managing high-value, complex client relationships.
- Proven experience building relationships with C-suite stakeholders across Fortune 500 enterprises and smaller organizations.
- Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional strategic planning, negotiation, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and retention in strategic accounts.
- Experience with negotiating contracts and renewals.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Skilled relationship developer.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and complex information.
- Results oriented with a proven track record of achieving revenue and clients' strategic goals.
- Experience handling a sales pipeline and forecasting.
- Ability to think strategically and bring structure to strategic, purposeful planning and execution.
- Align with Company priorities as well as annual and quarterly goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in and managing a fluid, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Keeps up with trends and changes across the pharmacy industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $129,900 - $158,700 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
