Role Mission
The Senior Program Manager is a strategic leader within the Global Commercial IT team, responsible for overseeing highly complex, enterprise-wide programs that enable Suntory's Commercial organization.
This role combines disciplined enterprise program leadership with strong commercial acumen. The Sr. Program Manager will shape and execute initiatives across Commercial Planning & Forecasting, CRM/SFA enablement, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Optimization, and Distributor Management - ensuring alignment to business strategy and delivering measurable revenue and margin impact.
Role Responsibilities
Enterprise Program Leadership
- Lead one or more large-scale, cross-functional programs comprised of multiple interrelated projects
- Establish and maintain program governance, managing scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and interdependencies
- Ensure seamless integration across projects and alignment to enterprise and commercial priorities
- Proactively adjust scope, sequencing, and resources to meet evolving business needs
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and senior Commercial leadership (Sales, RGM, Planning, Commercial Finance)
- Translate commercial strategy into executable technology roadmaps
- Ensure programs deliver measurable outcomes tied to revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, sales effectiveness, trade ROI, and margin improvement
- Oversee transformation initiatives across:
- Commercial Planning & Forecasting
- CRM / Sales Force Automation
- Commercial Analytics
- Revenue Growth & Trade Promotion systems
- Distributor management capabilities
- Drive adoption and change management across commercial teams
- Provide direction and oversight to Project Managers and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
- Deliver clear executive-level reporting on program health, risks, financials, and value realization
- Foster strong collaboration across IT, Commercial, and global stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience leading complex, enterprise-wide programs
- Proven experience delivering Commercial IT, Sales Transformation, or Revenue Management initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect technology investments to revenue growth and profitability outcomes
- Experience with Commercial Planning & Forecasting, CRM/SFA platforms, and/or Commercial Analytics solutions
- Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Alcohol Beverage industries
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification
- Experience with Revenue Growth Management and Trade Promotion systems
- Experience operating within distributor-based or three-tier models
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in Chicago, Illinios is 140-150k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
