Role Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain and Co-Manufacturing teams to provide thought partnership, decision support and financial leadership in the planning, analysis and controls of RTD activities for SGS.

• Develop Cost of Goods Sold financial plans (standard costs), in conjunction with the Supply Chain FP&A team, for all goods produced at Co-Manufacturing locations. Support the liquid planning process, linking co-manufacturing production to liquid supply needs.
• Single point of contact for commercial finance and FP&A related to RTD/co-manufacturing products globally (COGS trends and planning, strategic project, FP&A, cross functional collaboration).
• Develop and coordinate a global RACI / ownership model within supply chain finance to ensure reporting and controls are being executed effectively across all co-manufacturing locations.
• Weekly / Monthly RTD/co-manufacturing reporting, variance analysis and forecasting (including risks and opportunities). Including volume produced and shipped, inventory, excess and obsolescence and cost of goods sold. Monthly business review presentations with executive leadership.
• Tight cross functional collaboration with commercial, supply chain and RTD leadership to implement new ways of working. Leadership in leveraging internal and external best practices to drive profitable growth.
• Define / maintain a process and way of working for embedding excess & obsolescence (E&O) into product costing. Leading proactive efforts to minimize E&O exposure.
• Global Commercialization: Financial leadership for product costing, decision support and financial insights related to projects involving a co-manufacturer.
• Active participation in the S&OP cycle to ensure decisions related to co-manufacturing activities include financial input. Deliver financial forecasts, risks and opportunities in conjunction with S&OP activities.
• Financial support for procurement and sourcing activities tied to co-manufacturing - including negotiations, contract development & review and insource / outsource opportunities.
• Identify, highlight areas of waste within the 'end to end' cost structure, drive improvement actions.
• Lead accounting, internal controls and financial reporting integration efforts as needed, in partnership with operations and the RTD partners.

Outcomes/Success Criteria
• Is SGS Supply Chain and Co-Manufacturing Leadership satisfied with the level of partnership and service levels he / she and his / her staff are receiving from the finance team?
• Are cost of goods sold plans (co-man and RTD related) well documented and based on solid, accurate assumptions? Does commercial finance recognize and value this role as the single point of contact partner?
• Is the KPI and performance reporting for co-man accurate, timely and effective to drive the business?
• Does the negotiation and contract management review process with co-manufacturers include finance team input and support, ensuring the company is adequately protected against (or aware of) financial risks as appropriate?
• Are the accounting activities and internal control processes at co-mans in place and in adherence with corporate policies as appropriate? Is the RACI / ownership matrix being actively managed and followed?

Qualifications

Education- Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree
Certifications/Licensure- CPA or MBA preferred
Years of experience- 7+ years work experience in Finance / Accounting
Industry experience - N/A. Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations Finance experience is preferred
Travel % - 10%
