Role Responsibilities

  • Planning
    • Lead discussion and alignment on promotion proposals with internal stakeholders (Sales and Finance)
    • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize promotional design and execution to reflect channel and brand priorities
  • Sales incentive plan & KPI management
    • Collaborating with Commercial, APAC commercial excellence and reward team in designing quarterly Sales Incentive Plan and oversee SIP tracking
    • Lead and track monthly commercial dashboard design collaborating with commercial managers
  • Channel strategy
    • Lead yearly commercial prioritization and segmentation (sub channel & brands) by collaborating brand and commercial team
    • Develop key sub-channel 6P strategies (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, POSM) tailored to market dynamics and brand priorities by analyzing market data and consumer insights
    • Design dashboards and analytical views to aid commercial / marketing team business decision making
    • Identify business opportunities, and influence commercial decisions with supporting analysis
    • Collaborate with Commercial and category insight specialist to build actionable insights and commercial plans
    • Read the market trend and competitor activities through not only the data/report analysis but also regular field visits (gemba' spirit)
  • New Process / System Implementation
    • Supervising organizational change projects and commercial research, closely working with commercial excellence team, insight team
  • Budget controlling
    • Manage the budget efficiently to allocate the limited resources in the most efficient way
Qualifications
  • +8 years of relevant commercial or marketing experience
  • National/Chain Account headquarter contact experience desired
  • Understanding of consumer-packaged goods industry, retail channels and customer marketing tactics required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to create a compelling story
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze large data sets
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and data visualization software like Tableau
  • Experience with syndicated data sources like Nielsen
  • Highly organized, strong time management, ability to multi-task and re-prioritize
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
  • Strong analytical & communication skills
  • Successful track record in delivering annual business goals
