Role Responsibilities

Position Mission

The primary purpose of the role is to business partner Commercial team to deliver the P&L for GTR - SEA, SG, Oceania and MEA.

The role also requires collaboration with other teams in process improvement and initiatives for implementation of strategies. Examples are S&OP, Marketing and RGM/ Commex

Commercial Finance

• Partner and collaborate with RGM and Commercial Team in pricing discussions, trade spent optimisation and opportunities
• Partner with Marketing team in review of Marketing spent, driving conversations to optimize P&L spent
• Partner with S&OP team to review monthly shipment forecast against inventory, depletions performance and forecast, giving early indications of any risks & opportunities

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze P&L by market/brand performance and provide insights to assist commercial team on business and financial improvement opportunities.
• Provide insightful commentaries and supporting team reporting deliverables

Planning & Forecasting

• Prepare Budget, Forecast and Customer Plan in line with planning cycles and deadlines.
• Proactive identification of risks and opportunities and engage Commercial team in discussions on gap closing initiatives
• Participation in all Demand related conversations

Other

• Supporting Middle East in the RTM changes
• Finance representative for Project Optimus
• Partner with RGM team in support of the commercial team in the usage of TPM
• Play a proactive role in promoting financial impact and awareness, compliance within the commercial team
• Make recommendations on simplifications of processes across Finance (eg, driving forward looking analysis across GTR - Finance, leveraging AI in Finance WOWs)

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with finance or accounting qualification and relevant industry (e.g. FMCG) experience

• Experienced in writing succinct and insightful business performance reports, and summarizing business analysis
• Strong in building financial models and data analytics
• Cross Functional Working - proven experience in working proactively across commercial functions to deliver total business performance solutions
• Stakeholder Engagement and Management - demonstrated experience in influencing and managing multiple stakeholders across geographies, building mutually beneficial, profit-focused business relationships
