Are you ready to be a key player in managing Spectrum's expansive real estate portfolio? As a Real Estate Records & Portfolio Specialist, you will handle day-to-day lease administration, manage lease abstractions, critical dates, and financial aspects like landlord invoices and audits. You will work with approximately 25 million square feet and 3,400 properties, supporting strategic real estate decisions. This role emphasizes data integrity and consistency, requiring collaboration with Corporate Services, business stakeholders, and legal counsel.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Property and lease administration services, which may include: Abstract and interpret commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases)
  • Rent analysis and rent payment processing
  • Vendor/landlord relationship management
  • Resolve of rent and other landlord/tenant issues
  • Review annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations to ensure accuracy and lease compliance
  • Data entry and data management of lease documents
  • Track and maintain critical dates
  • Respond to questions with regard to procedures, lease interpretation, and billing calculations scan documents, open/distribute mail
  • Monitor central lease administration mailbox
  • Special projects as assigned by manager Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

Experience
  • 2+ years real estate experience

Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Prior experience with using a lease administration database
  • Ability to interpret complex commercial lease language
  • Demonstrated financial/analytical skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the capability to master company specific databases/program

The base pay for this position generally is between $22.30 and $40.80. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
