Facilities Maintenance Specialist

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Spectrum, you'll be the go-to specialist for overseeing facility projects, managing vendors and supporting physical safety measures across our locations. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Oversee maintenance for all facilities, buildings and grounds in your area, ensuring consistent operational excellence
  • Implement and execute demand and preventive maintenance processes that meet facility needs
  • Coordinate facilities projects including build-outs, renovations and office moves with other departments, contractors and vendors
  • Prepare and compile cost estimates, space requirements and equipment needs for project planning
  • Manage facility inspections, building permits and safety protocols to comply with Spectrum policies and regulations
  • Maintain and negotiate vendor relationships to secure timely and accurate services and review invoices for approval
  • Administer building security programs, card access systems, ID badges and communicate emergency and health procedures

  • Primarily office environment
  • Visit construction project sites and enter building infrastructure areas such as roofs and equipment rooms
  • Travel over 25 percent and occasional nights or weekends

Education
  • Associate's degree or equivalent

Experience
  • 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $45,800.00 and $73,200.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
