Business Systems Analyst

This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements; translate into clear metrics, definitions, and wireframes.
- Build, optimize, and maintain dashboards in MicroStrategy (or Tableau/Power BI/Looker), including filters, drill paths, and role-based access.
- Build reports linking operational metrics to fraud outcomes (losses, false positives, dispute cycle times) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Analyzing complex business partners' operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
- Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Prepare clear summaries for stakeholders (weekly updates, incident recaps).
- Maintain data quality: validate report inputs, reconcile discrepancies across systems, and escalate data issues to improve accuracy and reliability of fraud reporting.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2+ years business systems or IT-related experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Ability to build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to support business analysis and decision-making
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Proficiency with requirement gathering, gap analysis, and stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to quickly identify business problems and opportunities
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of management
- Knowledge of software applications such as Word and Excel
- Knowledge of applicable systems
- Collaborate in a dynamic team environment and work independently as needed
