Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator I is part of the Janitorial Staff. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout our production facility. Your role will play a crucial part in promoting a safe and hygienic working environment. Available to workdays 5-1:30 or Nights 10-6:30pm.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory, notifying management of shortages.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols during cleaning tasks.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
  • U.S. Citizenship is require.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and communicate, use hands/finger, feel, and reach with arms. This position requires the ability to lift, bend or stoop as necessary up to 50lbs.
