Become a Data Analytics Senior Specialist in the Customer Analytics team at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help build a better tomorrow. Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and automatically load data from various sources.
- Develops and maintain scripts for data cleaning, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Apply statistical techniques to analyze program data, identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develops reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAS and other tools to communicate findings effectively.
- Evaluates program effectiveness by assessing key metrics.
- Quantify the impact of interventions and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and ensure accurate results.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience performing data analysis.
- Experience using a variety of data tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in SQL or other scripting languages such as Python with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data analytics platforms, including Data modeling ETL development and orchestration, Performance tuning and query optimization
- Proficiency in dashboarding tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
- Experience with GenAI tools or frameworks for data analysis or automation
- Understanding utility industry operations, especially in customer service domains
- Experience performing analysis, testing hypotheses, and generating customer insights
- Experience working with SAS
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
