Merchandise Admin Assistant

The Role..

The Merchandising Admin Assistant will assist the Merchandising Team drive sales and manage stocks in a multi-channel, covering Retail space, Ecommerce platforms, Internal and Wholesale sales channels. Additionally you will provide strong administrative skills, meet deadlines, take on ad hoc tasks and support the merchandising team in a fast paced, exciting and growing business.To use organisational skills, logic and analysis to meet the demands of this busy department.

Key Accountabilities...

Purchase order & Supplier Management
•    Raising and recording purchase orders
•    Container planning 
•    Managing open purchase orders and invoices
•    Monitor and manage intake dates with suppliers, communicating issues with the wider team 
•    Work alongside the Logistics teams to ensure intake is delivered on time and in line with intake plans  
•    Planning intercompany transfer orders/replenishment to the US

Stock and allocation management
•    Raising retail store allocations 
•    Liaising with retail store teams and undertaking store visits when required to ensure that we are delivering to expectations

•    Assist with managing ringfencing and stockholding for all sales channels
•    Monitor retail site stock levels, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time
•    Raising sales orders for internal departments
•    Liaising with Merchandising Team, NPD Team, Finance and Logistics where necessary to ensure smooth stock flow in and out of the business
•    Maintaining inventory records and receipt of deliveries into warehouse 

Trade/Reporting
•    Assist in updating trade reports
•    Stock management through Retail system
•    Maintain inventory records as required on retail system
•    Assist with regular and adhoc reporting
•    Assist in updating line cards and forecasting documents 

Commercial awareness

•    To have an excellent understanding of the target customer and emerging trends.
•    To understand, prioritise and work to critical dates and deadlines in both the planning and trading process
•    To consistently deliver excellent standards of customer service, to be pro-active in seeking customer feedback from all business channels.

Experience required

  • Strong numerical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical and logical
  • Highly organised, and self-motivated with drive and determination
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with ease, adapting your communication styles for the audience
  • Merchandising experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
