Kitchen Administrator - Shoreditch House
The Role…
At Soho House, the Kitchen Administrator will be responsible for the support to the senior culinary team, ensuring smooth operations, accurate cost control, and high food safety standards.
Responsibilities include ordering, supplier liaison, quality and due-diligence checks, recipe and rota management, and maintaining compliance with food safety and incident reporting requirements.

Key duties…
- Ensure orders are processed on time with support of chefs.
- Cross check orders & invoices on Adaco and process for payment.
- Follow up on credit notes and order issues.
- Support chefs with order enquiries and product changes.
- Daily kitchen checks; stock levels, rotation, cleanliness, monthly internal audits.
- Complete daily food costing for finance and to ascertain ordering volumes.
- Ensure recipe accuracy in the systems.
- Work with head chefs to ensure rotas are forecasted and time sheets processed, to meet deadlines and wage targets.
- Ensure record keeping is accurate and up to date, temperature checks, cleaning records, etc.
- Support head chefs and H&S/Ops with investigations and documentation relating to incidents.
- Support head chefs with staff birthdays, reward, and recognition.
- Ensure required team trainings are attended and records maintained.
- Working with external contractors on weekly inspections are signed off and standards are maintained. Schedules requirements are requested in agreed time. And Invoices are checked and processed.
- Ensure documentation, standards and procedures are adhered to – following Soho house, local council and government policies, to ensure 5-star audits from internal and external inspections.
What we are looking for...
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure
- Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
