The Role...

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role will play a crucial part in driving financial strategy, planning, and decision-making to support the company's growth objectives. The position will be reporting to the Finance Director in Brazil.

Main Duties:

  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.
  • Work closely with our third-party accounting partners to ensure all month-end work is accurate and within Soho House reporting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors & New York Corporate office to facilitate the completion of audits and reviews in a timely manner.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and management teams to assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications...

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPC) and tax regulations; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
  • Proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in a hospitality or related industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) CM Flex preferred.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are plus.
