In addition to restaurants, a fitness studio, rooftop pool, in-house cinema and a spacious spa area, the hotel offers 65 rooms in various sizes, 20 flats and four lofts. In addition to Berlin and Great Britain, there are other houses in the USA, Toronto, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Mumbai. The SOHO HOUSE includes the concept store THE STORE X. THE STORE X is a platform for ideas and culture. The range includes fashion, art, design and also attracts a global community of creative people to 180 The Strand in London, Soho House Berlin and Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. Our aim is to present a new kind of experience space that exceeds customer expectations of traditional retail and shopping.
The Role...
As the Assistant General Manager, you will be the driving force behind all Club, Bar, and Event operations at Soho House Berlin. You’ll ensure our spaces run seamlessly day-to-day, while continuously elevating service standards, profitability, and team performance. A natural leader and hospitality visionary, you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to create exceptional experiences that keep members returning again and again.
Key Accountabilities…

Leadership & Operations
- Oversee all daily F&B operations across the club, bars, and event spaces
- Provide strategic leadership to the Club & Bar Manager and Event Operations Manager
- Work in close partnership with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service operations, including menu rollouts, quality control, and event planning
- Ensure all spaces meet Soho House service standards, ambiance requirements, and operational procedures
- Drive strong communication and collaboration across all front- and back-of-house teams

Member & Guest Experience
- Champion the Soho House service ethos by delivering warm, memorable, and highly personal experiences
- Engage with members to build relationships and gather insights
- Elevate the food & beverage experience through consistent quality, creativity, and attention to detail

Financial Performance
- Own departmental P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue performance
- Implement cost-control strategies without compromising guest satisfaction
- Identify new revenue opportunities through programming, events, and menu innovation

Events & Programming
- Oversee execution of all member events, private functions, and high-profile activations
- Ensure event operations are efficient, profitable, and aligned with brand standards
- Collaborate with culinary and membership teams on special projects

People & Culture
- Recruit, mentor, and develop F&B leaders and frontline staff
- Foster a motivating, inclusive, and high-performance culture
Requirements / Qualifications...
A successful Assistant General Manager for Soho House will ideally have 3-5 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service in a similar role. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Innovator and influencer with previous experience managing F&B operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Fluent in English
- Organised and reliable
- Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
- Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Adaco advantageous
- Full understanding of local authority requirements
