Location: We are seeking a Yellow Dog Inventory Systems Specialist at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Principle Function:
The Yellow Dog Inventory Systems Specialist serves as the primary subject-matter expert and system owner for the Yellow Dog Inventory Management System while supporting year-round receiving and warehouse operations at T-Mobile Park. This role is accountable for ensuring inventory accuracy, financial integrity, system adoption, and operational readiness in a high-volume, event-driven environment.
Operating within a unionized workforce, this position requires professionalism, consistency, and strict adherence to collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), Sodexo Live! policies, and established labor guidelines.

Under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Purchasing Manager, and/or Director of Operations, this role supports Sodexo Live!'s goal of being #1 in Event Hospitality through disciplined inventory control, financial accountability, staff training, and continuous improvement. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
Yellow Dog System Ownership & Financial Accountability
- Serve as the primary on-site expert and owner of the Yellow Dog Inventory Management System.
- Configure, maintain, and continuously optimize Yellow Dog to align with operational, purchasing, and accounting requirements.
- Ensure all inventory transactions accurately reflect financial activity, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and depletion.
- Partner with Accounting and Purchasing teams to support invoice matching, cost tracking, variance analysis, and month-end and year-end close.
- Maintain audit-ready inventory records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Analyze inventory data and financial variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain inventory control procedures that support internal controls and loss prevention.
Receiving & Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate and execute daily receiving operations to ensure accurate and timely receipt of all product, supplies, and equipment.
- Support purchasing operations and ensure all departments are properly supplied year-round.
- Oversee warehouse organization, storage standards, par levels, and inventory rotation.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance throughout all receiving and storage areas.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and workflow coordination of loading dock and receiving staff.
Training, Leadership & Collaboration
- Train team members and operational leaders on Yellow Dog functionality, inventory procedures, and financial controls.
- Act as the central liaison between Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, and Warehouse teams.
- Lead by example to promote teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
- Work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications/Skills:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Accounting or inventory accounting experience required, including reconciliations, variance analysis, cost tracking, or audit support.
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or operations environments preferred.
- Strong technology aptitude with automated inventory systems (Yellow Dog experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and coach others.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational and event-driven needs.
Preferred
- Hospitality or venue-based operations experience (stadium, concessions, restaurant, hotel; FOH/BOH).
- Experience with POS, inventory, purchasing, or accounting systems.
- Background in system implementation, process improvement, or technology adoption.
- Teaching, coaching, or staff development experience.
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with temperature extremes, wet floors, excessive noise, and confined spaces.
- Frequent movement in and out of freezers and coolers.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
