Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and service-driven Hospital Patient Services Manager to join our team at Bellevue Medical Center in New York, NY. Bellevue is a flagship 884-bed facility known for its excellence in patient care and innovation.
This leadership role reports directly to the Client Executive and oversees a team of approximately 75 union employees, playing a key role in supporting Sodexo's mission to deliver exceptional food and nutrition services that enhance the patient experience.
As the Patient Services Manager 2, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, high-quality service during their stay. You will lead and inspire frontline teams, foster collaboration across departments, and help maintain a culture centered on quality, safety, and care excellence.

What You'll Do
- Oversee daily patient food service operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous meal delivery.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of unionized employees focused on service excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Partner with culinary and clinical nutrition teams to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to and resolve patient feedback with professionalism and empathy, driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor service metrics and identify opportunities to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Sodexo policies, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements, including sanitation and safety protocols.
- Support positive labor relations and effective team communication within a union environment.

- Experience in healthcare food service and patient experience management required; union environment experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop large teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
