Role Overview

The Environmental Services Department at White Oak Medical Center located in Silver Spring, Maryland is seeking a dynamic Human Resources professional to manage the HR function on-site. This is an acute care hospital near College Park, MD with 230 beds. A dynamic team environment looking for an experienced HR Manager for our full-service Environmental Services team supporting the facility & custodial services. The successful candidate should be flexible to work a schedule that fits the needs of the business and supports various shifts throughout the week. Great client, environment, staff, and leaders.

This is an excellent position for an HR Manager looking for continued growth and opportunity within Healthcare. Candidates should have experience managing all HR/adminstrative functions from recruiting, rewarding, retention, constructive counseling, management of FMLA, workers compensation, etc. and a demonstrated ability to engage with employees. An HR degree is preferred. Outstanding customer & client service skills are paramount.

What You'll Do

  • support, engage, and help retain staff
  • employee relations and experience planning engagement & inclusion activities
  • support managers and hourly employees with HR related tasks
  • work daily in software systems such as Microsoft Office, ADP, Kronos, and applicant tracking systems
  • demonstrate strong attention to detail and organization
