Role Overview
Master Multi-Unit Operations: Lead Food Service Excellence across Acute, LTC, and Behavioral Health Units.
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and customer-focused General Manager 4 - Food Services to lead all food and nutrition operations at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in Hamilton, NJ.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for the financial and operational success across a unique two-location healthcare facility featuring acute care, long-term care, and behavioral health units. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial management skills with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care and exceptional customer service.
The General Manager 4 will have full operational and financial accountability for the department, ensuring Sodexo Standards and client goals are met across all units.
SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. What You'll Do
- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee and manage all day-to-day food service activities to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Financial Stewardship: Drive performance to consistently meet and exceed both company and client financial targets and operational goals.
- Quality & Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality food service and culinary standards, ensuring all Sodexo compliance and service standards are met.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to foster operational growth and continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain exceptional client and customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and partner.
- Culture Development: Champion a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.

What You Bring
- Proven Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated work history exhibiting strong leadership skills, substantial supervisory experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams.
- Operational Expertise: Possesses strong culinary production experience and an impeccable background in safety and sanitation compliance (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
- Communication & Prioritization: Excellent professional communication skills, the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, and demonstrated flexibility to handle additional responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Customer-Centric Focus: A passion for delivering a high level of customer service and patient experience, grounded in compassionate care.
- Technical Acumen: Proficient in computer skills, data analysis, and possessing substantial experience in report management.
