Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1 for Adventist Columbia Gorge.

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that includes a 49-bed medical center the in The Dalles, Oregon, surrounded by a variety of primary, specialty, and immediate care clinics that support patients from rural communities in and around the Columbia River Gorge.

What You'll Do

  • manage day-to-day environmental service (EVS) operations and team members
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors
  • interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction
  • deliver high quality patient services

What You Bring

  • custodial and/or environmental service management experience
  • demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop teams
  • a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • a passion for a high level of customer service
  • healthcare experience preferred but not required
