Location: We are seeking a Culinary Supervisor- Concessionat T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.

Job Type: Part-time Seasonal

This position follows the Seattle Mariners' home-game schedule from March through September. Work from October to February is not guaranteed and is based on business needs and union seniority.

Union Status: Non-Union

Work Location: In person

Pay: $30-$32/hr

Rate of pay depends on assigned work location

Principle Function:

The Culinary Supervisor position is an hourly position and reports to the Concessions Sous Chef or Executive Chef. It is the first level of supervision within a Sodexo Live! commercial kitchen, performing functions and responsibilities that include but are not limited to providing supervision and direction to concession cooks in accordance with Sodexo Live! standards and policies. Ensures that food is prepared, held and served at correct temperatures and presented according to standards expected by Sodexo Live!, the Client and that meats all Health and Safety requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides supervision and direction to culinary staff in accordance with Sodexo Live! standards and policies.
  • Ensure that food is prepared, portioned, held and served at correct temperatures and presented according to standards.
  • Assist in coordinating the flow of work within the culinary department to maximize quality and efficiency
  • Contributes to goal of making Sodexo Live! #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.


Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility in an often tightly quartered environment.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Other Requirements:
    • Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
    • Stand and exert mobility in tight spaces
    • Bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently
    • Perform repetitive motions
    • Operate in an environment with moderate to high noise levels
    • Stand for prolonged periods
    • Other lifting or physical requirements as added from time to time, or as required to perform essential job functions.
    • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
