Culinary Internship is your chance to sharpen your skills while cooking at some of the most iconic cultural destinations in the country.
About the Program
The Sodexo Live! Intern Program is designed for currently enrolled college and culinary students who are ready to roll up their sleeves and gain hands-on experience. You'll work alongside experienced chefs, contribute to real menus, and learn what it takes to operate successful, high-volume kitchens-all while building leadership and teamwork skills that set you up for a career in hospitality.

What You'll Do
As a Culinary Intern, you'll be immersed in daily kitchen operations and gain hands-on experience in:
- Assisting chefs with food prep, banquets, and kitchen setup
- Measuring ingredients, stocking supplies, and keeping workstations organized
- Participating in menu development and recipe creation
- Preparing, plating, and presenting dishes in a high-energy environment
- Collaborating with a talented culinary team to deliver safe, high-quality food
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For
You're a great fit if you have:
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn
- The stamina to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety

- Flexibility and a positive attitude under pressure
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a culinary institute, or four-year college
- Preferred focus in culinary arts, food science, or restaurant management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role and includes:
- Standing and walking for 8-10 hour shifts
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
- Lifting up to 30-50 lbs.
- Working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments
- Safely using knives, kitchen equipment, and working around hot surfaces
