Location: We are seeking a Concessions Stand Worker at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.
Job Type: Part-time Seasonal
This position follows the Seattle Mariners' home-game schedule from March through September. Work from October to February is not guaranteed and is based on business needs and union seniority.
Union Status: Union
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with UNITEHERE Local 8.
Work Location: In person
Pay: $26.50 per hour
Principle Function:
The Stand Worker is responsible for ensuring that fans receive an exceptional level of service by assisting guests at points of sale. Style of service may include take-away, cafeteria-style or restaurant-style.

- Provide outstanding service to all fans.
- Ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer sales transactions are adhered to.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to a team environment, supporting concessions stands as directed.
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relay relevant information to supervisor.
- Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Handle credit card transactions using the Point of System service. Enter all sales into the register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Respond to guest needs and requests.
- Perform other duties such as replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness concession area.
- Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Valid Food Handler's Card and MAST permit required.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment.
- Technology aptitude for working with POS and digital register.
- Strong skills for providing guest service with keen ability to connect easily with customers.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
- Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight and maneuver in tight spaces.
Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
