Sodexo MAGIC Universities Segment has an exciting opening for a Campus Dietitian at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. In this highly visible role, the Campus Dietitian will work closely with students, support campus athletics, and provide lectures and tabling events across campus as needed. This position will provide nutritional support at other campuses as needed.
SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.
What You'll Do
- provide nutrition care to students at campus and attend promotional events as assigned;
- consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
- collaborate with operations teams to develop wellness programs and menus for resident dining, athletics and retail locations;
- partner closely with Executive Chefs in selecting healthy menu items, evaluating sales and determining what can be offered differently;
- maintain an active and engaging social media presence;

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
