VP, Product Management (Hybrid in Bangalore)

We’re seeking a VP of Product Management to lead our Enterprise product strategy and guide teams across the UK and India. This leader will make Smartsheet the clear choice for Enterprise decision makers by driving innovation in data security, governance, integrations, and our developer ecosystem. You will define the roadmap, strengthen our enterprise platform capabilities, and ensure Smartsheet becomes the de facto standard for work management across global enterprises.
You will report to our Chief Product Officer located in the US.
You Will:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to build products with strong market fit
- Create and articulate a compelling vision for your product portfolio and capabilities
- Partner with Product Marketing, Pricing & Packaging, and Sales to define effective go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with Customer Excellence and Sales to gather customer insights and translate them into product strategy
- Define the product roadmap, translate strategy into a clear and prioritized plan, and partner with Engineering to deliver
- Work closely with Design to craft high-quality, intuitive customer experiences
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to inform recommendations and future investments
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers—setting clear goals, providing guidance, and fostering a supportive, high-performing culture
- Take on additional cross-functional leadership responsibilities as needed

You Have:
- 15+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a software product; B2B cloud experience preferred
- 10+ years of experience as a people manager, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Experience building and leading geographically distributed teams (e.g., UK, India)
- Experience in related product segments, such as Enterprise Administration, Developer, or Partner Ecosystems
- Deep experience in areas such as security, governance, integrations, or developer platforms is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to define vision and strategy, translate them into actionable roadmaps, and deliver high-impact outcomes
- Passionate drive and extraordinary ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives
- Strong analytical skills, with experience working with data analytics and visualization
- Ability to evaluate and discuss technical concepts and trade-offs
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and executive audiences
- Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for solving complex enterprise problems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
