This is a great way to get a foot in the door and hone your producing skills in a shop where expectations are high and producers are editorial leaders tasked with building compelling, distinctive, viewer-focused shows.

The Successful Candidate:
- Multi-platform news consumer, well-versed in major storylines of the day.
- Solid news judgment.
- Writes impactful, concise scripts quickly.
- Communicates clearly with colleagues and talent on the set.
- Able to manage time and meet show deadlines
- Responds positively to feedback and makes adjustments as required.
- Flexible in responding to late updates and breaking news
- Able to troubleshoot effectively and calmly in the booth.
- Understands news is a 24-7 business and may require nights, weekends and holidays.

- Minimum 3 years news producing experience at a commercial TV station
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or similar preferred.
- Familiarity with iNews, Xpression, Tagboard and Avid a plus.
