  • Partner with the host to shape authentic, urgent, and conversational on-camera storytelling-with a strong emphasis on the "why"
  • Lead recordings to ensure production quality supports long watch times and audience immersion
  • Manage and mentor Producer and Associate Producer across research, booking, outreach, and asset gathering
  • Oversee fact-checking across scripts, interviews, graphics, and archival materials

  • Contribute to titles and thumbnails that balance curiosity, clarity, and brand alignment while maximizing CTR
  • Optimize metadata and packaging ahead of publish
  • Analyze YouTube performance metrics (CTR, AVD, retention curves, comments) and translate insights into editorial decisions
  • Continuously refine hooks, pacing, format, and episode length based on data
  • Identify high-impact moments for Shorts and vertical distribution
  • Collaborate with social teams to ensure clips support long-form growth strategy
  • Adapt quickly to breaking developments, new leads, or court updates
  • Remain solutions-oriented as timelines or editorial direction evolve mid-production
  • Adapt quickly when new leads, court developments, or breaking new occurs.
  • This role requires occasional travel, approximately 10-20%, to attend conferences, training, or on-site content coverage.
  • Physical Requirement: Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment/gear weighing up to 25 pounds, following proper safety protocols.
Daily / Weekly Expectations:
  • Shape episode concepts, angles, and guest strategy
  • Review cuts with a focus on pacing and retention

  • Deep passion for true crime and investigative storytelling
  • Exceptional research and fact-checking skills, including public records and court documents
  • Experience booking and prepping sensitive or high-stakes interviews
