Strategic Planning Analyst

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

The Strategic Planning Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company's long-term strategy and annual planning processes. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between strategy, operations, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the annual and multi-year strategic planning cycles, including timelines, templates, and coordination across business segments
• Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Develop compelling presentations and visualizations to support storytelling and influence decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate strategic priorities into operational plans
• Monitor progress against key strategic initiatives and KPIs
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies, and surface them proactively to leadership
• Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to support long-term planning efforts

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear narratives

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, or related field
• Master's degree (MBA) and PMP certification preferred, but not required

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or a similar role
• Experience working in a corporate strategy, FP&A, or management consulting environment strongly preferred
