What role will you play?
We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer to join our IT Chapter Artificial Intelligence. We are a self-organized team which develops and operates innovative AI solutions. Our jointly defined purpose: "With our collective brain power, broad skillset and state-of-the art technologies we use AI technologies to improve our business". In this role you will:
- Build ML Solutions that fit well into existing software landscape, including data ingestion, transformation, cleaning and analysis
- Maintain, improve and simplify existing ML solutions
- Deploy machine learning models in production
- Document the design and implementation for the handover into production.
- Visualize ML model results, to get users' feedback for further improvements
- Coach junior ML Engineers
- Share your know-how with team members
- Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge research and developments in the area of artificial intelligence and associated software technologies that support Siemens Financial Services' overall mission, e.g., in the NLP and deep learning spaces.
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, or in a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in natural language processing (NLP) or machine learning
- Experience in deep learning, computer vision, and/or data mining
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or C++
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for software development and thorough expertise in creating software products
- Cloud-savviness, particularly in MS Azure
- Consciousness for resource usage
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Apache Kafka
- Flexible and creative for different solutions based on highest customer benefit
- Ready to take over responsibility
- Business fluent English and German skills round off your profile.
- Bonus Skill: Experience with Snowflake
