Web Application Developer

We are seeking a Web Application Developer who combines experience in infrastructure engineering with strong web-based application development abilities. This role bridges operational engineering, automation, and lightweight full-stack development of internal tools and services.

The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting enterprise infrastructure while developing or enhancing internal web applications used by IT, operations, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Support, maintain, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS/OCI/Salesforce).
  • Administer Linux/Windows systems, virtualization technologies, and container platforms.
  • Manage monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex operational issues and perform root cause analysis.

Web Application Development
  • Develop and maintain internal PHP 8-based web tools and dashboards. Experience building small-to-medium internal web applications or administration dashboards.
  • High Proficiency in Java and .NET for building and supporting internal applications and services.
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat setup, configuration, deployment, and operational support.
  • Build secure web applications with strong HTML/JavaScript/CSS foundation.
  • Configure and maintain Apache Web Server for internal applications.
  • Implement integrations using MySQL and PHP-based data access.
  • Implement and maintain web security controls, including:
    • CSP (Content Security Policy)
    • CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection
  • Work with identity technologies, including SAML-based authentication.
  • Support and enhance Apogee-based implementations (e.g., managed network services, identity services, or custom platforms leveraging Apogee APIs).

  • Work cross-functionally with IT, development, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
  • Provide architectural input on both infrastructure and application design.

Required Skills & Competencies

Infrastructure Skills
  • Strong background in enterprise infrastructure engineering and operations.
  • Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Web Development & Application Support
  • HTML/JavaScript/CSS
  • PHP 8 development
  • Apache Web Server configuration
  • MySQL usage from PHP
  • .NET

Security & Identity
  • Familiar with CSP implementation
  • Familiar with CSRF implementation
  • Familiar with SAML-based authentication
  • Understanding of secure coding practices.

Other Required Capabilities
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with identity systems associated with Apogee implementations.
  • Experience creating operational dashboards or automation portals.
  • Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, Linux, Security+).
  • Licenciado or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Development preferred.
