Warehouse Performance Leader

Schneider Electric has an opportunity to join our Fairfield, Ohio team. As Warehouse Performance Leader, you will lead and optimize end-to-end warehouse operations with a focus on 3PL performance, material flow, Kanban execution, WIP management, receiving accuracy, and S4 HANA MRP discipline.

This role is responsible for improving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational flow to support manufacturing performance. You will work cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and external 3PL partners to ensure materials are received, stored, replenished, and delivered to point-of-use with the right process controls, visibility, and urgency.

This position will play a key role in strengthening warehouse processes, reducing material shortages, improving MPH execution, optimizing waterspider routes, and driving continuous improvement across receiving, internal logistics, supermarket management, WIP controls, and MRP-related warehouse transactions.

What will you do?
• Lead warehouse performance improvement initiatives focused on safety, service, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and material availability.

• Own and improve 3PL operational performance, including service levels, receiving execution, put-away discipline, inventory controls, material delivery performance, issue resolution, and accountability cadence.

• Drive optimization of Material Providing & Handling (MPH) processes to improve material flow from receiving through point-of-use delivery.

• Lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of Kanban systems, including card/signal accuracy, supermarket sizing, replenishment frequency, min/max levels, and escalation processes.

• Improve WIP management processes to ensure material visibility, transaction accuracy, aging control, floor discipline, and alignment with production demand.

• Develop and optimize waterspider routes, replenishment cycles, delivery standards, and visual management to support production efficiency and reduce operator material handling burden.

• Strengthen receiving processes, including dock-to-stock performance, ASN/packing slip accuracy, PO receipt accuracy, discrepancy management, labeling, put-away, and supplier/3PL issue escalation.

• Serve as a site subject matter expert for S4 HANA MRP and warehouse-related transactions, ensuring system discipline, accurate material movements, inventory visibility, and alignment between system signals and physical flow.

• Partner with Planning and Production teams to identify and resolve material shortages, MRP exceptions, inventory discrepancies, and flow interruptions.

• Use data, KPIs, and daily management routines to monitor warehouse performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.

• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects related to warehouse layout, material flow, internal logistics, inventory accuracy, receiving performance, replenishment strategy, and productivity.

• Support Schneider Production System principles through strong visual management, standard work, 5S, short interval management, problem solving, and process sustainability.

• Create and maintain standard work for receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, Kanban execution, WIP control, cycle counting, waterspider activity, and 3PL handoffs.

• Collaborate with site leadership to identify high-impact actions that improve service to production, reduce waste, improve inventory accuracy, and lower total logistics cost.

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Strong experience in warehouse operations, internal logistics, material flow, production support, or supply chain performance improvement.

• Demonstrated experience managing or optimizing 3PL warehouse operations and external logistics partners.

• Strong working knowledge of Material Providing & Handling, Kanban, WIP management, receiving, supermarkets, waterspider processes, and point-of-use replenishment.

• Experience using S4 HANA, SAP, or equivalent ERP/MRP systems, with strong understanding of material movements, inventory transactions, MRP signals, receiving, and production supply processes.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, visual management, standard work, problem solving, and root cause analysis.

• Ability to analyze warehouse and supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Experience improving inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock performance, material availability, replenishment efficiency, and warehouse productivity.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and 3PL operations.

• Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.

• Ability to establish priorities, create action plans, monitor results, and sustain process improvements.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting a high-mix manufacturing or assembly environment.

• Experience developing warehouse KPIs, daily management systems, and escalation routines.

• Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, shortage management, and production line replenishment.

• Experience improving end-to-end material flow from inbound receiving through line-side delivery.
