Warehouse & Fabrication Supervisor

The Warehouse & Fabrication Supervisor is accountable for supervising, coordinating, training, and developing teams responsible for Warehouse Operations and Fabrication activities on 2nd shift. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of material flow, inventory management, fabrication production, and customer fulfillment activities while driving continuous improvement and employee development.

This position is a 2nd shift role. The shift schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage as needed.

What will you do?

  • Enforce Safety, Health & 5S
  • Lead your team in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in warehouse and fabrication operations requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, inventory management systems, fabrication workflows, value-add services, and production requirements.
  • Ensure fabrication schedules are executed safely and efficiently, meeting daily production, quality, and throughput objectives.
  • Organizes and assigns work to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, etc. to obtain the most favorable costs, order accuracy, and completeness.
  • Ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, prioritizing critical shipments and service commitments.
  • Drive team engagement and accountability through clear expectations, performance visibility, and consistent follow-up.
  • Own data integrity and performance systems, ensuring transactional accuracy across warehouse and fabrication processes, including inventory transactions, production confirmations, goods movements, and shipping activities.
  • Analyze operational data (Tableau, Excel, ERP/WMS) to identify trends, root causes, and performance gaps, and drive corrective actions with clear accountability and follow-up.
  • Manage staffing, performance management (including performance evaluations, coaching and disciplinary actions), task delegation, project delegation, work planning and head-count management including departmental approved time off policies.
  • Organize and manage (or control) operations according to SPS principles.
  • Act as the first level of escalation, ensuring issues are clearly defined, supported by data, assigned with ownership, and followed through to resolution.

Digital & Data Leadership
    • Utilize Tableau dashboards, Excel, and system reports to analyze KPIs (aging, throughput, errors, service levels).
    • Translate data into clear operational priorities (what needs to be fixed today vs. escalated vs. structurally improved).
    • Identify recurring system/process issues and lead root cause and corrective action plans.
    • Build and maintain basic analytical tools (Excel) to support daily management and decision-making.
  • Lead daily operations through Short Interval Management (SIM), ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and executed: Safety Quality Customer Service Productivity 5S/Continuous Improvement
  • Utilize SAP (ERP)

Who will you report to? Warehouse Manager

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Bachelors degree OR equivalent years of experience in the related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Operations/ Distribution/Manufacturing, with at least 2 of these years in a leadership role.
  • Possess knowledge of material logistics processes, inventory management systems, and production/order requirements a plus.
  • Strong digital and analytical skills (required):
    • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, basic formulas)
    • Ability to navigate and interpret Tableau dashboards
    • Capable of analyzing data independently and translating insights into actions
    • Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes
  • SAP (ERP) knowledge (required):
    • Ability to execute and validate warehouse transactions (goods movements, confirmations, inventory adjustments)
    • Experience identifying and resolving system errors (e.g., COGI/ZMFC)
    • Understanding of how transactional accuracy impacts inventory, financials, and customer service.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to independently execute company strategies.
  • High desire to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both management and employees (Verbal and written skills)

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
