Role and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading a team and also for the routine and repetitive material handling responsibilities within the manufacturing facility including kitting/material movement/receiving.
- Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assembly areas.
- Responsible for "kitting" materials on the production line to ensure all parts of order required are at point of origination to keep line moving at steady pace.
- Responsible for picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into a bin (kit).
- Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.
- May take parts from inventory area and ensures Water Spider is kept stocked at appropriate levels of inventory to include put up and receiving.
- Performs repetitive material supply functions following detailed work directions and guidelines.
- Required to operate PITs for delivery or picking of parts and supplies.
- Sorts and counts parts, supplies, and logs inventory.

- Creates and distributes labels and other admin work if applicable.
- Inspects parts for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
- Must use computer systems and respond to Andon's.
- May trace or track lost parts and supplies.
- Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training.
- Daily 5S is a requirement.
- Performs other duties as required and often in other groups.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required .
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred .
Additional Notes
- The department requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) , plus Safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor .

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
