As a VIE in Procurement, you will support and drive strategic procurement initiatives for industrial automation projects, working at the intersection of Project Management, Supplier Strategy, Cost & Risk Management.
You will be fully embedded in project teams and exposed to end-to-end project delivery, from early sourcing decisions to supplier performance during ramp-up.
This role is designed for a high-potential graduate seeking strong ownership, structured exposure, and accelerated development toward a future Procurement /Project Leader / Category role.
Key Responsibilities
Project Procurement & Delivery Excellence Support
- Support and contribute to the deployment of procurement strategies for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with supplier strategies, cost targets, and time-to-market objectives
- Support and coordinate procurement activities across project phases in close collaboration with Project Leaders, R&D, Quality, and Industrial teams
- Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes, including preparation of audits, risk assessments, and sourcing recommendations
- Track project procurement KPIs and prepare clear dashboards and management updates
- Support Make-or-Buy analyses and sourcing recommendations at early project stages
Supplier & Business Line Support
- Support supplier management activities for assigned suppliers or business lines, including preparation of business reviews and follow-up of action plans
- Contribute to supplier integration into Schneider Electric programs and maturity tracking
- Assist in contract preparation and follow-up in coordination with peers and legal teams
- Support negotiation preparation

Risk, Data & Process Excellence Support
- Proactively identify supply, cost, or quality risks and escalate with data-driven recommendations
- Ensure high-quality project and supplier data in procurement tools (PFU, Project ID Cards, dashboards)
- Support compliance with procurement and project processes
- Prepare clear documentation to support decision-making at project milestones
Flexibility & Team Contribution
- Remain flexible to support ad-hoc team priorities and transversal initiatives, contributing to collective performance and continuity
Education & Background
- Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or equivalent
- First experience in procurement field, project management in industrial environment
Key Skills
- Strong analytical and structuring skills; comfortable with data, KPIs, and dashboards
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environments
- Good communication skills; able to synthesize complex topics for management
- Proactive mindset with willingness to challenge, learn, and take ownership
- Fluent English required
