VIE - Junior Finance Controller - Budapest

As a Junior Finance Controller, you will join the Global Procurement Finance team and play a key role in providing financial, commercial, and decision-making support to Procurement leadership and key stakeholders worldwide.

You will contribute to performance measurement, financial reporting, procurement controlling activities, and digital transformation initiatives, while gaining exposure to global Supply Chain and Procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance & Reporting

  • Consolidate, analyze, and publish key Procurement Finance indicators.
  • Support reporting activities related to:
    • iSave performance
    • Material and Other AOC productivity
    • Raw Material Index (RMI) evolution
    • Base cost monitoring
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data.
Business Partnering & Performance Management
  • Support Procurement Finance teams, Commodity Directors, and Market Leaders in understanding and monitoring business performance.
  • Contribute to the deployment of performance measurement principles across procurement organizations.
  • Participate in business reviews and performance discussions with global stakeholders.
Dashboard & Analytics Management
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards and Balanced Scorecards.
  • Support performance tracking across global commodity categories, including Electrical Equipment (EE) and Raw Material Markets.
  • Contribute to the Global Supply Chain Business Review process.
Cost Controlling
  • Monitor Procurement function costs and support budget follow-up activities.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis.
Digital Transformation & Projects
  • Support procurement finance digitization projects.
  • Contribute to the development, deployment, and improvement of digital tools and reporting platforms.
  • Help drive automation and data-driven decision-making initiatives.
Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis
  • Perform specific analyses and business studies upon request.
  • Leverage systems such as iSave, Prism RS, Essbase, and other digital platforms to support decision-making.


Education
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Business Administration
Experience
  • A first experience (internship, apprenticeship, or employment) in:
    • Management controlling
    • Financial analysis
    • Corporate finance
    • Procurement finance
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus.
Languages
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong economic and financial acumen.
  • Understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
  • Knowledge of performance measurement systems and financial reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of Essbase is highly appreciated.
  • Understanding of business and legal aspects related to procurement is a plus.
