For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex, high-value project orders (customer, affiliate, recall, etc.) from initiation through closeout. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and deep technical and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing direction to cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with customer requirements, including specifications, drawings, job site needs, and bill of material accuracy. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Schneider Electric products and solutions, as well as the ability to drive continuous improvement in project execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all Schneider Electric safety policies and requirements are met at all project sites, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
  2. Provide expert-level support during the pre-sales and quotation phases to ensure execution feasibility and risk mitigation.
  3. Validate project scope, technical and commercial terms, and lead all customer communications from initiation through closeout.
  4. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with internal manufacturing and third-party vendors.
  5. Lead project execution through structured kickoff meetings, stakeholder alignment, and proactive issue resolution.
  6. Oversee project performance metrics, including task completion, team coordination, schedule adherence, and financial tracking.
  7. Ensure successful project completion, including financial reconciliation, equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, and training.
  8. Identify and propose alternative solutions to optimize cost, performance, and delivery.
  9. Resolve issues with professionalism and foster long-term customer relationships through consistent, high-quality engagement.
  10. Apply deep knowledge of Schneider Electric products and project management best practices to drive successful outcomes.
  11. Ensure projects meet or exceed financial targets, including margin, cost control, and revenue recognition.
  12. Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Provide accurate financial forecasts and change order management.
  13. Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the project execution team, enhancing tools, templates, and workflows.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. PMP certification required.
  3. Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience in electrical power distribution, construction, or mechanical systems.
  4. Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects with cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
  5. Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  6. Deep technical knowledge of facility/building systems including MV switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, and BMS.
  7. Demonstrated leadership in driving customer satisfaction and project profitability.
  8. Experience mentoring or supervising project managers or technical staff.
  9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
