Unify Local Data Lead & Data Quality Leader

Ensure local execution of the UNIFY data strategy by coordinating data readiness, cleansing, migration, governance, and transformation activities. Act as the key interface between local business teams and regional data governance structures. Also lead Data Quality Initiatives to Improve DCAM score related to DQ for Greater India Data Office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead local data activities across the Journey to Readiness (J2R), deployment & run phases
- Align local data practices with the UNIFY Target Data Model and global data governance standards & analytics
- Coordinate with local BPOs, data stewards to ensure data quality & completeness, data migration under guidance from Squad Data Lead
- Identify and resolve local data model gaps and transformation needs
- Support training, onboarding, and change management for local data teams
- Drive Data Quality Initiatives to Improve DCAM score related to DQ for Greater India Data Office
Key Activities
- Lead gap analysis between local legacy ERP data models and the UNIFY Data Model. Ensure value mapping is completed by L/RBPOs
- Ensure data quality compliance assessment. Drive cleansing and enrichment of data objects in collaboration with Squad Data Leads and Wave Data Lead, asper guidance of Sub-Template Data Leads (Domain/Business Model)
- Data Migration strategy activities coordination
- Document and escalate non-standard field usage and critical custom attributes
- For analytics, contribute to scoping, categorization & local data platform decommissioning
- Ensure compliance with data golden rules (GR #0 to #4) and data maturity framework
- Track progress using the Data Workplan, J2R data playbook and readiness assessments
- Coordinate with Data Domain Leaders from Data Office, Business SPOC & Global Team & Execute the DQ Initiatives

Skills & Competencies
- Elementary level understanding of SAP S/4HANA, MDG, DQP, MOM, DMT tooling experience
- Understanding of data quality aspects, cleansing, and governance frameworks
- Proficiency Stakeholder engagement across local and global teams
- Elementary understanding of Change management and training facilitation
- Ownership of local data outcomes
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-wave deployment
- Collaborative mindset bridging global strategy and local execution

- Knowledge of reporting & progress tracking tools : JIRA, Tableau, CALM
- Understanding of Master Data
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively

Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
Job Related Experience:
- Proven experience in leading transformation initiatives and business process optimization projects
- Background in ERP systems (implementation and usage), especially SAP is an advantage
- Experience in managing cross-cultural, cross-functional, and multi-business area projects.
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with Schneider Digital is a plus
Business Understanding :
- Understanding business processes, systems, tools and customers.
