The Role: Transportation Coordinator

Join us in driving transportation excellence through reliable, cost-effective, and customer-focused logistics operations. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will oversee inbound and outbound transportation activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, seamless shipment execution, and on-time delivery. Working closely with freight forwarders, brokers, transport providers, and customs authorities, you will play a key role in optimizing logistics performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What will you do?

Operation - Shipment Handling
• Manage the import and export activities to ensure on time delivery
• Liaise with Broker, Freight Forwarder and Local Custom Department for smooth custom clearance of shipments
• Adherence to the shipping procedures to ensure compliance to the countries shipping rules and regulations and ISO standard
• Annual Customs audit by Customs Authorities
• Contributor of Tax Audit
• Contributor of Certification Audit
• Contributor of Project Solution and FS team SME

Supplier Management
• Manage and monitor the performance of freight forwarders, transporters and customs brokerage to ensure on time delivery of shipments
• Origin (Factory/DC1) for the import delivery respecting incoterm (i.e FCA)
• Ensure billing accuracy of freight payment and import duties declaration
• Conduct supplier performance review to ensure supplier adherence to the committed lead time
• Work jointly with freight forwarders on global/regional transport plan deployment to minimize transition difficulties during implementation
• Manage Licenses related to import/trading
• Vendor invoice management and improvement process, Forwarder and warehouse PO management
• Improving and maximizing productivity as per target for FTA Saving with join working with factory, DC1 and Regional Customs.
• Last Mile Delivery for dropship (TT4 to the site) for project solution

Customer Management
• Liaise with internal and external customers on transport matters to ensure smooth operation
• Improve service level by identifying optimization of processes and procedures
• Customer knowledge sharing related to the transport

Reports
• To compile shipping data for management reporting (ASR, FTA Saving, inbound transport cost) and flow formulating
• Perform analysis of transport cost and shipping tonnage in order to assist the inventory team in determining the best mode of transport (air/sea ratio)

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Proven experience managing the full customs, taxation, and certification audit cycle.
• Certified for PPJK is preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of shipping industry practices and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) processes is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in standard business applications.
• Good knowledge of shipping and transportation management principles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
