We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our product development R&D team in Kolding, Denmark. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the test team to define, plan, and execute tests on module and system level. You will serve as the interface to stakeholders in the firmware, mechanical and hardware department and manage time estimation, methodology , coverage, and test schedule.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and system teams to define verification and validation activities across module, integration, and system levels
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute V&V test cycles in alignment with project stakeholders and the test team, ensuring coverage of requirements and risk areas
  • Plan and conduct engineering test activities together with colleagues in R&D
  • Set up and maintain test environments and test stations . A ctively participate in laboratory activities together with the V&V team
  • Document and report test results with clear traceability to requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in V&V and supporting knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of new test methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance verification , quality, and efficiency
  • Work in an agile, cross-functional environment, ensuring early feedback and alignment with the development lifecycle
  • Prepare documentation and support compliance in executing tests according to safety and industry standards


What will help you succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation technician, technology management/ marine engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience working in a lab and preparing test setups for large-scale systems
  • Proficiency in planning and conducting tests, with meticulous attention to detail, and experience in failure mode analysi s
  • Proven experience in testing and validating power electronics or similar large-scale system s
  • Knowledge of 3-phase power conversion product is a plus
  • Knowledge of UL1778 & IEC62040 is a plus
  • You are a r eliable, analytical, and structured individual with a proactive mindset . A collaborative team player who is open-minded , inclusive and thriv es in a diverse and cross-cultural environment
