- Purpose:
The Test Architect is a strategic engineering leader responsible for driving an integrated Verification & Validation (V&V) approach across product and system levels. This role ensures quality, robustness, and reliability of Schneider Electric's Power Products by defining end-to-end test strategies, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
1.Integrated V&V Strategy & Planning- Develop and implement an integrated V&V framework that spans product, system, and connected solutions.
- Create comprehensive Product & System Test Plans covering functional, integration, performance, and compliance aspects.
- Define and maintain testing standards, processes, and governance models.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide technical direction for integrated V&V activities across multiple teams.
- Mentor team members and review test plans to ensure alignment with integrated strategy.
- Automation & Infrastructure
- Drive automation-first approach for regression and system-level testing.
- Oversee test infrastructure design and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement AI/ML-driven test optimization for efficiency and coverage.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks early in the lifecycle.
- Ensure V&V activities align with project milestones and quality objectives.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Introduce advanced methodologies and tools to enhance integrated V&V capabilities.
- Promote data-driven decision-making through test analytics and dashboards.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between design, development, and test teams.
- Share best practices and lead community of practice for V&V excellence.
- Preferred Experience
• 12+ years Proven expertise in integrated V&V strategy development.
• Strong background in test planning, management, and execution.
• Experience with agile development and multi-stakeholder delivery models.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies (keyword-driven, data-driven, BDD, hybrid).
• Hands-on experience with Circuit Breakers, Relays, and electrical protection systems.

• Advanced skills in test automation and scripting (Python, Selenium, NI TestStand).

Preferred Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Specialization in Power Distribution, Embedded Systems, or Automation is a plus.
