Tendering Manager for Digital Grid
Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a talented and driven Tender Manager to join our dedicated team for Digital Grid tendering. You will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting competitive tenders for delivery of our Digital Grid portfolio of software and partner products.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Analyzes reasonably complex customer RFPs (Request for Proposals) within the business and prepares complete tender responses.
- Prepares offer documentation consistent with SE standards for technical compliance, pricing, risk assessment, customer projects processes, and approval procedures.
- Drafts moderate size/complexity tenders (SW delivery projects ranging from $1M-$10M.
- Supports the Opportunity Leader during customer negotiations and closing of the deal.
- Analyzing project requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive tender proposals that align with customer needs and project objectives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions that showcase Schneider Electric's capabilities and value proposition.
- Provides technical support and expertise during the tendering process, including addressing technical queries and participating in customer meetings as needed.
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives for tendering processes and tools, leveraging your insights and expertise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develops presales contract strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, business management, and technical/engineering teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents.
- Ensures mastering all aspects of the offer: technical proposal, purchasing, cash flow etc.
- Applies advanced Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Project, and Word to prepare offer pricing and other proposal documents.

Qualifications
8 years relevant experience - responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers.
Good planning, organizational, inter-personal, and communication skills.
Previous experience in sales, tendering, and/or delivery of electrical distribution and geographic information systems turnkey software projects.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
