Your Mission

As a Tender Engineer, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively preparing competitive tenders and proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements while aligning with our technical capabilities and strategic objectives.

Your contribution will be critical to winning new business, protecting profitability and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

About the One Solution Centre

You will become part of the One Solution Centre (OSC) Schneider Electric's premier engineering hub for bespoke power infrastructure in the Pacific.

The OSC designs and delivers integrated Low and Medium Voltage solutions, including switchgear, switchboards, prefabricated switchrooms, busway systems, kiosks, transformers and modular substations. By combining global innovation with disciplined local execution, the team strengthens grid resilience and supports customers in achieving their sustainability and performance goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will focus on leading the tendering process for complex Medium and Low Voltage power system solutions, in line with our Customer Project Process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the overall tender process from opportunity review through to handover
  • Reviewing project and customer requirements to develop strong technical and commercial proposals
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders including factories, legal, supply chain, engineering and finance teams
  • Conducting detailed risk assessments and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Developing optimised solutions technically, financially and logistically
  • Supporting negotiations where required and contributing to broader project strategy
  • Ensuring smooth and accurate transfer of awarded projects into the execution phase
  • Balancing commercial performance while delivering excellent customer outcomes


What Will Make You Successful

  • Good technical knowledge of Medium and Low Voltage equipment, transformers, with switchrooms (eHouses) knowledge as preferable not mandatory
  • Solid commercial and contractual understanding, including Incoterms and common legal clauses
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders in complex environments
  • Highly structured, pragmatic and proactive, with strong ownership of outcomes
  • Customer‑focused team player with an open, curious and collaborative mindset
