Tender Engineer (Technical Proposals)

Mission

As a Tender Engineer in our Project Business , you will turn customer requirements into tech nically strong and commercially competitive solutions , supporting the tender process from early pre-sales through to the final offer .

This is a hands -on technical and coordination rol e where you will shape the technical solution, collect key inputs, and build the offer together with Sales, customers, Schneider Electric factories, Product Managers and external partners .

You don't need to know everything from day one - i f you have a good technical foundation, curiosity and willingness to learn, we are ready to support your development into the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and translate them into the right technical solution .

• Work with Sales and Product Managers to define scope, technical concept, and tender strategy.

• Coordinate technical inputs , quotations, documentation and delivery timelines w ith Schneider Electric factories .

• Work with suppl iers and subcontractors, compare their offers and include the selected scope in the final solution.

• Collect and consolidate project cost s , including equipment , logistic s , s ubcontractors and internal resources , and prepare budgetary and commercial proposals.

• Support internal tender reviews and approvals, and coordinate technical clarifications with customers and internal teams .

• Proactively work with Sales on upcoming opportunities and the s upport handover of successful opportunities to the P roject E xecution team .

Qualifications & Experience

• Education in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation or a related field
• Basic u nderstanding of Low Voltage/Medium Voltage (LV/MV) equipment and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical documentation , drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working with and structur ing technical and commercial information from multiple sources
• Strong communication skills , proactive mindset and confidence working with different stakeholders
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate English or above

Nice to Have

• Background in tendering, technical sales, estimation or technical pre-sales
• Experience coordinating and communicating with customers, factories, suppliers or other external partners
• Experience to project risk management, governance or internal approval processes
• Knowledge o f Schneider Electric equipment
